Smithing is a mix of both the cargo and science department. both have access to the blacksmithing section. here we can make strong armors, swords that cut your enemy apart, axes to throw at people or gloves that make you immune to shocks! Now. Go start forging!

You need to click the combo right as the icon touches the anvil. the closest to the end of the minigame you are, the worse the quality will be than the start of the minigame if you fail, be carefull at the end!
Every smithing level, you get 5 more max + min quality up to the legendary level where the items can have 120 quality instead of 90.
Allows you to actually forge anything, simply place a material / ingot in it, right click the anvil then choose the desired object. Once you do that just complete the minigame (information on it above)
Any form of weapon / shield requires a handle for it to work, use the assembly bench to complete the object (how to do it is below this)

Allows you to plate anything in a certain material, the materials transfer over their traits to the plated items. (weapon first, crystal next)
Yes plating stuff in a bluespace crystal will make it randomly teleport or plating uranium stuff makes it radioactive
Allows you to get a more detailed version of what a material does in the form of a paper! just simply hit the machine with the material and it will get done after some time!
The following table is for melee damage of weapons. most throw damage of weapons is 75% of the orginal melee damage that it would get expect the axe which its throw damage is 175% of the melee damage instead or the dagger having highier
The dagger is faster with its attacks.
The Pickaxe is able to be used as a... pickaxe. the formula for its tool speed is this (density + hardness) / 10 * quality / 100
but the max speed it can have is one second
The Staff deals stamina damage instead of the normal brute damage, can hit people from two tiles away and its throw damage is 10% of its melee damage.
