This is one of the few roles that changes its race-lock depending on Map.
On Rosewood, only Elves and Half-Elves may be Consort due to Lore reasons.
"Yours was a marriage of political convenience rather than love,
yet you have remained the ruling monarch's good friend and confidant throughout your marriage.
But your love and loyalty will be tested, for daggers are equally pointed at your throat."
This Guide is a WIP
It is important to note that while you have the traditional authority to do pretty much anything, you still need to follow The Rules.
Yeah, thats you; You're the voice of Reason to your spouse, whether about affairs of Law, your Children or the Court. Your job is to keep the Peace, as its one of Astratas virtues after all!
Your marriage was of Political Aptitude, but you've grown to love your Spouse (Or, alternatively. Hate their Guts)
As the Consort, you can practically go around and say what you'd like about whoever you'd like, maybe creating rumors about a certain somebody. Or just generally create chaos in your spouses court.
Your "bloodline" is not what is special, your family is blessed. Adopted children still have as much of a right to the throne, and homosexual Monarchs/Consorts are somewhat commonplace. (Of course, if you still feel like just going and treating your adopted children worse, you can if you want to.)
As the Consort your only "duties" are to keep your children alive and keep the Servants from murdering your children.
If there are no servants, you may wish to get your hands dirty and start cooking for the keep, its a very known thing that people like eating food.
The Court is one of your minor concerns, as one of the two people next to Monarch in the event they need to step away, you should be ready to accept the Crown and administer over the Court.
Often you will need to speak with The Hand or The Steward, whether it be by meetings, them requiring you or you requiring them.
Your Children are rather volatile, most haven't fully grown up yet and may need some more irreverant treatment for their issues. Considering it was your job to raise them, you may still have to do so for the more grown ones.
The Servants are under your employ, and should listen to you, this includes the Butler/Maid.
You can also recruit new Servants to your Employ, should the Keep be lacking, dont be afraid to discipline your Servants.
