This is one of the few roles that changes its race-lock depending on Map.
On Rosewood, only Elves and Half-Elves may be Heir due to Lore reasons.
"You’ve never felt the gnawing of the winter, never known the bite of hunger and certainly have never known a honest day's work. You are as free as any bird in the sky, and you may revel in your debauchery for as long as your parents remain upon the throne: But someday you’ll have to grow up, and that will be the day your carelessness will cost you more than a few mammons."
It is important to note that while you have the traditional authority to do pretty much anything, you still need to follow The Rules.
Playing Heir is almost like playing as a celebrity, you have no responsibilities beyond not dying, and way too much authority.
You are a spoiled brat, very few people respect you, but you still can still order most of the people around, albeit not to the extent of any real command role.
"Life has been kind to you; you've an entire keep at your disposal, servants to wait on you, and a whole retinue of guards to guard you. You've nothing to prove; just live the good life and you'll be a lord someday, too. A lack of ambition translates into a lacking skillset beyond schooling, though, and your breaks from boredom consist of being a damsel or court gossip."
You have very little advantage in combat, but you get fancy clothing. This is the generic heir subclass, and one of the most used. The main advantage to this class, along with the fancy clothing, is the bonus to intelligence. You also give anyone who looks at you a mood buff, due to how handsome/beautiful you are.
You're a somebody, someone important. It only makes sense you want to make a name for yourself, to gain your own glory so people see how great you really are beyond your bloodline. Plus, if you're beloved by the people for your exploits you'll be chosen! Probably. Shame you're as useful and talented as a squire, despite your delusions to the contrary."
This is the combative prince role, and also the one that ends up dying the most. You have decent combat skills, though a lack of intelligence.
This is the equivalent of playing a beggar heir. You have quite literally the worst stats out of any job in the game, very few skills, and you're so hideous that you give anyone who looks at you a massive mood debuff.
